Welcome to Evans

Hello Cub Families,

During these uncertain times, we want to stay connected to our Cubs as much as possible- Each afternoon a guest will post a video on FB and the Evans website reading, telling jokes, science experiments, etc. Be sure to like our FB page so you don’t miss out on the fun.

Students know that you are missed and being loved from afar. Continue to work on your assignments. Parents we appreciate all that you are doing to keep students engaged in learning.

Be sure to reach out to your homeroom teacher if you need anything. There won’t be any new assignments for a few weeks. A few additional resources would be scholastics.comkhanacademy.com and abcya.com. As always check the EVSC or Evans website for updates.

Parents food bags can be picked up for the week at any of the 13 grab and go sites tomorrow only! 11:30-12:30.

Cubs be nice to your parents and stay healthy!!

Our goal at Evans Elementary School is to provide a quality education through shared responsibility in a safe and supportive environment for all students. We are “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make this site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community. We strive to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative independent thinker and problem solver.

Boxtop Collection

It's time to start collecting box tops again this year. Classrooms are going to be in competition to see who collects the most! There will be an "ice cream party" for the winner at the end of November, so please encourage your children to bring them to school. Send the box tops in with your child, and have them give them to your child's teacher. Thank you!
